Hotel De Waal on Texel
Hotel De Waal is run by Maarten and Belinda Brugge. In 2013 they took over from their parents/in-laws Piet and Alie Laan, who were the regular face of the hotel for 14 years.
Clean and cozy rooms
All rooms have been decorated with care and love in a 'coastal' style theme – much of the furniture and decorations are handmade from driftwood. Furthermore, the rooms are equipped with comfortable box spring beds and sparkling clean bathroom. We offer various types of rooms for 2 to 4 guests.
An introduction
Maarten and Belinda have been running Hotel De Waal with great pleasure since 2013. They aim to offer hospitality, a personal touch and a cozy atmosphere. They also try to combine their profession as hoteliers with their other passions.
Beachcombing and theatrer
Maarten enjoys taking guests to the beach and telling them everything about beachcombing. Belinda has worked for years in the theater. To be able to continue singing, she now regularly organizes delightful evenings with live music in the hotel.
